HII Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a mid-level engineer to contribute to open air range and lab systems verification and testing. You will validate requirements with the Government customer, lead verification activities, and coordinate with PMs and lead engineers across software, hardware, RF, and systems teams.

You will design test cases, develop common test infrastructure, prepare technical reports, and help guide current and future system development efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of engineering experience including systems engineering, EW testing, electronic design, software development, system integration, V&V testing, or test and failure analysis.
• Proficient technical writing to generate reports and documents.
• Strong verbal communication; ability to work in a team.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on EW test experience.
• Secret clearance to start; ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsabilités

• Review engineering design documents for acceptance criteria and analyze system architectures.
• Author technical reports and provide recommendations for DoD leadership.
• Support technical interchange meetings and provide feedback on testing methodologies.
• Write and participate in verification, qualification and acceptance tests for large system builds.
• Maintain and document functionality for future software/firmware updates.
• Collaborate with CapDev partners across disciplines.
• Travel up to 25%.
