Job summary

VTG seeks a Mid-level Test Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to perform application, system and integration testing across NSG/ASG and federal agencies. You will test APIs in DevOps pipelines, conduct manual and automated tests, and support defect investigations in a government-facing, secure environment.

Candidates need a TS/SCI with Poly, a STEM degree, and 6–12 years of experience in large System of Systems or SOA integrations, with proficiency in JMeter/Jenkins/Docker and cloud/on‑prem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS, or related STEM field.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional testing approaches.
• Mid-level systems integration experience in government/industry environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Test applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines with QA practices.
• Conduct independent integration testing of system software/hardware.
• Plan and execute manual tests and automated scripts.
• Support defect investigations discovered during test activities.
