Job summary

Frequentis USA Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team on client-site deployments in the United States. The role focuses on hands-on integration of software and hardware, network configuration, and test procedures for reliable mission-critical communications systems.

The candidate should have 3–9 years of Systems Engineering experience, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication. This full-time onsite position collaborates with cross-functional teams and supports multiple

Qualifications

  • BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3-9 years’ experience in Systems Engineering integrating, deploying, and supporting integrated hardware and software solutions in networking and communications.
  • Demonstrates the ability to implement and apply best-practice system engineering concepts.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on integration of software and hardware components including software installation and configuration, network configuration, and telecommunications hardware integration.
  • Implements and validates IT system solutions for networking, computing, and our propriety communications equipment including conceptional, functional, and physical views.
  • Develops and follows test procedures to verify system functionally and perform system debug.
  • Develops and conducts factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, failure location and analysis.
  • Creates and reviews technical documentation supporting production build (e.g., rack layouts, cable plans, system layouts, system configuration, build of materials, build plans/instructions).
  • Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., program management, hardware & software development, solution architects, test engineering, field engineering, production) for total project success.
  • Supports system production team to troubleshoot and solve production issues.
  • Participates in on-site installations, integration, testing and maintenance activities.
  • Analyzes site and contract information to determine, recommend, and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment, or modifications to existing equipment and systems that will provide capability for proposed project or workload, efficient operation, and effective use of allotted space.
  • Ensures adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • May participate in remote system monitoring, maintenance, and tier 2 on call support.
  • Full-time onsite at client site.

Key Tasks
