Job summary

(EDO) Entertainment Data Oracle, Inc. seeks a System Engineer to support the Government's CMS program.

You will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain enterprise platforms across secure environments, collaborating with software, cloud, DevSecOps, and systems engineering teams. Key duties include acting as ADS Scrum Master, leading agile ceremonies, managing documentation, and coordinating with government leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years system engineering experience; 12 years may substitute for degree.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience leading agile development ceremonies and documenting technical work.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate ADS Scrum ceremonies, remove blockers, and ensure adherence to Agile practices.
  • Assist the Product Lead in ADS outreach and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Conduct ADS user experience demos and training.
  • Maintain Siteworks, ADS Confluence space, and overall roadmap.
  • Coordinate testing: UAT, Functional Testing, and validate new features before release.
  • Maintain accurate System and Activity Records for compliance and traceability.
  • Manage ADS Helpdesk and User Support Operations.
  • Communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks with the technical team and Government leadership.
  • Collaborate within the team to drive continuous improvement.

Position Description

We are seeking a System Engineer to join one of our Prime Contracts supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Act as direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitate agile processes, and communicate with team members, the Government, and end‑user customers.
  • Serve as Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) Scrum Master by facilitating sprint planning, stand‑ups, and backlog refinement; remove blockers, coordinate cross‑functional communication, and ensure adherence to Agile practices.
  • Assist the Product Lead in managing outreach and stakeholder engagement activities related to ADS.
  • Conduct ADS user experience demos and training.
  • Maintain Siteworks, ADS Confluence space, and overall roadmap.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Testing. Develop test plans, coordinate testing cycles, and validate new features, fixes, and upgrades. Document results and ensure issues are logged and resolved prior to release.
  • Maintain accurate System and Activity Records: track configuration changes, deployments, enhancements, and operational workflows. Ensure documentation supports compliance and system traceability.
  • Manage ADS Helpdesk and User Support Operations.
  • Prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks with the technical team and Government leadership, and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, providing valuable feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently on large projects, displaying self‑direction and autonomy in project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of experience as a system engineer. Twelve (12) years of system engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience leading agile development ceremonies
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of Linux server environment
  • Kubernetes infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer
  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
  • Experience with testing methodologies (Selenium, Cypress)

Compensation

Estimated salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, including location, the individual's education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
