Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join our intel team in Columbia, Maryland. You will apply systems engineering across the lifecycle and interact with the Government, program personnel, and senior executives.

This role emphasizes technical integrity, quality, and adherence to ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including requirements definition, design, integration, verification, and operation.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• Multiple degree pathways are acceptable, as detailed in the ad.
• Experience in systems engineering across lifecycle phases is expected.
• Ability to interact with government and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Support the HPDA PMO with gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation such as RVTM, TEMP, LCSP, System Architecture Documents and others as needed.
• Interact with Government, program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality and completeness of work and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Apply systems engineering principles throughout lifecycle phases: Concept to Retirement.

This candidate will apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

• (U) Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
• (U) Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
• (U) Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
• (U) Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
  OR
  A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  OR
  A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  OR
  A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Position Details:

Support the HPDA PMO with gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation such as Requirements Verification, Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), System Architecture Documents and others as needed
