Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Engineer - Mid Level for Boeing Intelligence & Analytics in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will develop, maintain, and integrate software across heterogeneous systems, with focus on RF signal processing and analytics.

The role requires strong practical Python, C++, and Java/JavaScript skills in Linux environments. Required TS/SCI with polygraph, seven years of SWE experience, and a CS degree.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in small-scale (5-20 member) and medium-scale (20-100 member) development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
• Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions
• Innovating RF signal processing applications
• Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools
• Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors
• Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
• Providing input to software components of system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis
