Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a mission-focused program delivering embedded C2 systems. You will analyze requirements, design scalable software, and integrate with vendor SDKs while maintaining robust tests and automation.

The role involves developing containerized applications, building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, and collaborating across teams to improve standards, documentation, and performance of critical systems.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability systems.
• Interface with embedded systems and SDKs to implement functionality.
• Debug across languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, C++).
• Develop and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated testing and deployment.
• Create automated testing frameworks to improve code quality and reliability.
• Develop automation scripts to improve workflows and system operations.
