Job summary

HRCap, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer for a premier global tech client focused on scalable distributed systems and cloud platforms.

You will drive design, development, and optimization of core architectures, aiming to increase resiliency and throughput. You’ll own services end-to-end, collaborate with Product, Data, and QA teams, and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines using Go, Java, Python, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, and Kafka.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with distributed systems.
Proficiency in at least one core backend language (Go/Java/C++/Python) and databases, microservices, and cloud constraints.
Bilingual in English and Korean/ Mandarin/ Japanese is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed systems and microservices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
Monitor performance, identify latency bottlenecks, and translate metrics into improvements.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and QA teams to specify requirements and review implementations.
