PEPOLTEK LIMITED in New York is seeking a backend engineer to build and maintain production-scale API integrations and data pipelines, handling authentication, pagination, rate limits, retries, and errors.

You will support pipeline operations, investigate incidents, and deliver backend projects through rollout and monitoring, collaborating with senior and forward deployed engineers to turn field insights into product capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years backend engineering experience.

Job description

Build and maintain production-scale API integrations and orchestrated data pipelines, including handling authentication, pagination, rate limits, retries, and errors. Support pipeline operations, investigate incidents, deliver backend projects through rollout and monitoring, and collaborate with senior and forward deployed engineers to turn field insights into product capabilities.

Requirements: Candidates need 2 to 5 years of backend engineering experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience building and maintaining production data or integration pipelines with orchestration tools. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university is required, along with experience handling API integrations at scale; AWS experience is a plus.
