Job summary

DCS Corporation in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Mid-level Software Integration/Test Engineer to support autonomous systems testing for air platforms. You will contribute to integration efforts across software, hardware, and interfaces while applying best practices in software testing and DevOps.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance; a BS in a related field and several years of programming experience are expected. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with programming experience.
8 years of related experience or master’s with 6 years experience; co‑op/internship applicable.
Experience with automated testing, containerized deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, AGILE.
Understanding software architecture design and Git source control.

Software Engineer - Java, C/C++

DCS Corporation, an employee-owned company, is seeking a Mid-level Software Integration/Test Engineer to support our Aerospace Technology Development team in Dayton, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact, multi-year initiatives focused on testing and evaluating cutting‑edge autonomy and autonomous control systems for air platforms which will integrate capabilities across maneuvering, communications, sensing, user interface design, and performance monitoring and evaluation.

Essential Job Functions

Develop and work with containerized autonomy services.
Design software test fixtures.
Develop interface control documents.
Apply industry best practices for software test.
Develop and execute integration test plans and test cases and document test results for government and contractor stakeholders.

Some travel may be required.

Required Skills

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Able to obtain and maintain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering) with demonstrated programming experience.
8 years of related experience or master’s degree with 6 years of experience. Industry-relevant co‑op or internship experience is applicable.
Familiarity with automated testing, test results analysis, containerized deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Linux.
Familiarity with AGILE software development processes.
Understanding software architecture design.
Experience working with source code control systems (specifically Git).
Good organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
