Job summary

HarveStaff is seeking a Mid Level Security Officer for a contract role in Kaunakakai, HI. You will provide security services at an industrial site including gatehouse coverage, foot and mobile patrols, and rapid emergency response.

The role requires 4–6 years of security or related experience, a Hawaii Guard Card, and strong observation, communication, and reporting skills. Shifts vary across 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and 1:30 PM–8:00 AM; drug tests and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Hawaii Guard Card REQUIRED — candidates without an active card should not be submitted.
• CPR certification/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings, grounds, facilities, and assigned work areas.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Officers will not carry any type of weapons.
• Must be comfortable with guardhouse, foot patrol, mobile patrol, and emergency response assignments.
• Three possible shifts, based on business needs:
  • 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
  • 1:30 PM–8:00 AM
• No guaranteed shift start time; scheduling is based on business needs.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $31.21 to $39.21 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
