Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting security programs.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience in DoD/high-sensitivity IT environments.
• Experience with audits, inspections, compliance reviews, or readiness assessments.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead personnel, facility, and operational security for a high-sensitivity IT environment.
• Manage security requirements related to clearances, access, and secure handling.
• Maintain security records and documentation for eligibility, access, training, and requirements.
• Coordinate facility accreditation readiness and security controls.
• Conduct and coordinate security compliance checks, inspections, and drills.
• Monitor security practices to ensure DoD/Space Force requirements.
• Govern property identification, IUID, and serialized inventory fidelity.
• Lead internal security and property audits with corrective action plans.
• Track corrective actions through resolution and closure.
• Coordinate with government security personnel and stakeholders.
• Support investigations and resolution of discrepancies and deficiencies.
• Develop and update security policies, plans, and checklists.
• Prepare security status reports for leadership.
• Provide guidance and training on security procedures and access requirements.
• Identify emerging security risks and recommend improvements.
