Job summary

Relative Dynamics seeks a Mid-Level System Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD, to support the USGS EROS Center. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on work with ground station RF equipment and satellite communications systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and mentors, gain experience with cutting-edge satellite tech, and contribute to missions in earth science and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Satellite Communications, or related field.
• 4–6 years of Satellite Communications Engineering experience.
• US Citizenship is required due to ITAR requirements.
• Three years of continuous residency in the U.S. for issuance of a Government Security credential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation for facility access.

Responsibilities

• Work on ground station RF equipment: procurement, deployment, troubleshooting and repair.
• Develop satellite ground systems, including antennas and RF chain as per mission needs.
• Coordinate with Systems, Software Engineers, Operators and project teams.
• Conduct systems engineering activities per the SEMP.
• Support defining interfaces and documenting requirements.
• Perform architecture and trade studies and execute integration testing.
