Job summary

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in Dallas seeks a full-time, partnership-track mid-level associate with 3–6 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience. The role involves representing borrowers and/or lenders in financing, negotiating and closing mortgage and mezzanine loans, and handling acquisitions, dispositions, and equity deals.

Relocation expenses are covered for moves to Dallas. Texas bar membership is preferred and required within one year of joining.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of sophisticated CRE experience.
• Experience representing borrowers and/or lenders in CRE financing.
• Negotiation, documentation, and closing of mortgage and mezzanine lending.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions and equity transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial real estate transactions and closings.
• Coordinate closings and draft/principal transaction documents.
• Draft and negotiate mortgage, mezzanine and other secured lending docs.
• Collaborate with partners in a team-oriented practice.
