Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 months creating robust test plans/test cases for web applications.
• 18 months creating, managing and executing functional and regression test scripts.
• 18 months testing applications based on written test scripts and tracking defects with JSM/JIRA.
• 18 months analyzing business requirements with technical and policy teams.
• 12 months help desk experience documenting and resolving software issues.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related majors

Description

This position will assist in the development and testing of the Medicaid Eligibility and Client Management (MECM) system, working with requirements, testing, and help desk service.

Duties

• Review and assist in development of testing requirements and test plans
• Create and implement user acceptance and regression testing for WMS System Changes and MECM implementation;
• Define user requirements;
• Create documentation to support projects and reflect organizational change;
• Research, propose, and test systems solutions to identified user and systems issues;
• Create ad hoc reports utilizing various databases to support analysis and reporting for internal and external customers
• Assist in defining process improvement through the identification of policy, process and systems gaps;
• Provide written documentation as required using department forms and processes;
• Apply knowledge and experience of Medicaid regulations and program policy to system design and associated business processes;
• Coordinate project activities and the resolution of action items for multiple stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate meetings between SMEs, policy development staff, and business owners to ensure mutual understanding of requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Specialises in analysing, designing, and implementing information systems. Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Serves as change agent, who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivations others to use the systems.
