Job summary

Nashville CARES / CARES360 seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Memphis team and help build an innovative low-barrier HIV and sexual-health clinic within Friends For All.

The provider will deliver rapid ART, STI screening, PrEP initiation, and bridge care with short-term follow-up, collaborating across clinical teams and with case management to connect patients to ongoing care in Memphis.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Tennessee with prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
• HIV or sexual-health experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable in a flexible, patient-centered, low-barrier care model.

Responsibilities

• Rapid ART initiation for patients newly diagnosed with HIV.
• Re-engagement of patients who have fallen out of HIV care, including bridge medications and short-term follow-up.
• STI screening and treatment.
• DoxyPEP and HIV PEP.
• PrEP initiation for eligible patients.
• Collaboration with case management, prevention, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and the CARES360 clinical team.
• Participation in workflow development, program expansion, and quality improvement.

Nashville CARES / CARES360 is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Memphis team and help build an innovative low-barrier HIV and sexual-health clinic located within Friends For All.

This is a walk-in access model—not a traditional continuity clinic. The provider will deliver immediate care and short-term follow-up until patients are successfully connected to ongoing care at CARES360 Memphis.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid ART initiation for patients newly diagnosed with HIV
• Re-engagement of patients who have fallen out of HIV care, including bridge medications and short-term follow-up
• STI screening and treatment
• DoxyPEP and HIV PEP
• PrEP initiation for eligible patients
• Collaboration with case management, prevention, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and the CARES360 clinical team
• Participation in workflow development, program expansion, and quality improvement

Ideal Candidate
