Job summary

ATS Industrial Automation in Lewis Center, OH is seeking an Intermediate Project Controls Specialist to create and manage master production schedules and forecast resource needs. You will collaborate with Project Managers and department leads to ensure on-time delivery across nuclear automation projects.

You will biweekly update Primavera schedules, analyze COR impacts, and drive data-driven decisions using ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with computerized database systems.
• Primavera and Planview are an asset; Microsoft Project and Excel are required.
• Understanding of materials management, production control, logistics and procurement.
• Desire to learn, adaptability, professionalism.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Biweekly (or more frequent) updates of Primavera (or designated) project schedule.
• Generate schedule changes as required to maintain visibility of the work to predict delivery dates.
• Utilize Primavera (or designated) system to automate data collection and distribution of information.
• Assess pending CORs for impact to timing, resources and criticality.
• Implement signed CORs into project schedule verifying timing and resources.
• Weekly creation and maintenance of a master production schedule (MPS) for departmental review.
• Determine material due dates using project schedules and collaboration with Sales and project team.
• Provide information to production control to issue due-dated work orders.
• Coordinate work order issuance and kitting to meet schedule.
• Forecast manpower requirements by job classification and identify capacity constraints.
