Job summary

Strategy Engineering and Consulting, LLC in Houston, Texas, is looking for a Process Engineer with 3–10 years of experience to support oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will work on all phases of project execution, including conceptual design and field execution.

This role requires a B.S. in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities include preparing process simulations and conducting engineering studies.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of relevant engineering experience, with relief valve and/or flare study experience preferred.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Ability to work multiple projects and travel 10–20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to conceptual engineering, FEED, and detailed design for oil & gas facilities.
• Prepare process simulations and Heat & Material Balances (H&MBs).
• Performs engineering calculations including hydraulics and valve sizing.
• Conduct engineering studies and participate in hazard analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
