Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Mid-Level Platform System Engineer to join a high-impact team at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role requires independent initiative and ownership from inception to implementation, with a focus on platform MDSEA frameworks and enterprise services.

The candidate will contribute across engineering lifecycle, supporting programs, documenting designs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant solutions for national security missions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• 3+ years in IT systems engineering or architecture within DoD or similar enterprise.
• Understanding of requirements analysis and management.
• Understanding of the System Engineering V-Model and lifecycle.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design solutions to optimize efficiency, security, and sustainability.
• Conduct studies, define requirements, and architect platform solutions for enterprise services.
• Support engineering lifecycle from initiation to sustainment.
• Create implementation and test plans for sustainment teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity, PMs, and software teams to ensure standards compliance.
• Define tasks and schedules with Project Managers.
