FedTec in Washington, DC seeks a Mid-Level Application Developer to advance informatics and mHealth solutions, focusing on HuRIS automation and modernization. You will design, build, test, and maintain applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, Python, HTML5/CSS3, and modern web tech, while integrating with SharePoint, SQL Server, and APIs.

The role emphasizes developing data-driven interfaces, Power Platform workflows, and robust CI/CD practices within a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional application development experience.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Python, and JSON.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, database design, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Experience with SharePoint CMS for content and document management.
• Experience with JIRA for agile/project tracking and issue management.
• Experience with SVN or comparable source-control systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, IIS, and application integration.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, reusable components, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications using ASP.NET MVC, Python, and C#.
• Support automation and modernization of HuRIS and related clinical/informatics applications.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
• Develop business applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server/T-SQL solutions, including stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries.
• Develop dynamic data presentation using jQuery DataTables, including filtering, sorting, searching, pagination, and AJAX-based loading.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications on Microsoft IIS.
• Use JIRA for requirements, task tracking, defect management, and development activities.
• Use SVN/source control for version management, branching, merging, change tracking, and code collaboration.
• Support code reviews, release management, application troubleshooting, performance optimization, and CI/CD practices.
• Participate in application upgrades, migrations, modernization, and system decommissioning activities.
