Smurfit Westrock’s Longview, WA pulp and paper mill seeks an Intermediate level Millwright to maintain and repair equipment in the manufacturing process. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and work with precision tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance as an Intermediate Millwright.
• Formal apprenticeship or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks in connection with the maintenance department.
• Repair and improve equipment related to pulp and paper processes.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures using hand and power tools.
• Work with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, levels).
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
