Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Mississippi seeks an experienced millwright to plan, lay out, install, and align equipment per plans and specs. You will work with various hand and power tools, review foundations, and ensure precise elevations for machinery placement.

Responsibilities include rigging, testing, and adjusting installed equipment, dismantling and moving machinery when needed, and maintaining safety with adherence to project rules on a construction site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright's work.
• Use hand/power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery; install items.
• Review inventory, prepare foundations, and align machine components per specs.
• Torque, rig, test, and adjust installed equipment as required.
• Dismantle, move, assemble, and align machinery on foundations per project.
• Operate in construction/industrial site with attention to safety and rules.
