Job summary

Pond- seeks a Mid-Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL design team. You will lead and support the design and analysis of HVAC and plumbing systems across government, industrial, and corporate projects, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM software; travel up to 25% and a path toward PE license.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience (internship and professional experience included).
• PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
• Experience with HVAC system design and analysis.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and supporting proposals preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Strong ability to work well within a team, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivate to produce high-quality work.
• Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and professional growth.
