Job summary

OneWater Marine in Pompano Beach is seeking a mid-level Marine Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on a range of watercrafts, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant marine technician certification, and hands-on experience; the role requires teamwork, quality workmanship, accurate record-keeping, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as marine technician or similar role preferred.
• Marine Technician certification; Manufacturer certification (Boat or Engine).
• Current & valid driver’s license.
• Solid understanding of marine systems, marine tools and diagnostic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on a variety of boats in a timely, competent, and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with parts & service to prioritize customer concerns in an appropriate manner.
• Accurately document all service work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and other important details.
• Ensure all boats are being handled with care before, during, and after service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and continuous educational requirements.
• Assist with special work events as needed, i.e., boat shows.
• All other duties as assigned.
