Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Marine Technician in South Shore Marine, Huron, OH to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations on a variety of boats with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred marine technician certifications; valid driver’s license is expected. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on a variety of boats in a timely, competent, and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with parts & service to prioritize and address customer concerns appropriately.
• Accurately document all service work, including parts used, labor hours, and provide customers with documentation.
• Ensure boats are handled with care before, during, and after service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and stay updated on trends and tools.
• Assist with special work events as needed, e.g., boat shows.
• All other duties as assigned.
