Job summary

East West Hospitality in Beaver Creek, CO is seeking a Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team. You will own preventive maintenance and day-to-day repairs, gaining exposure to advanced building systems and renovation projects at a premier property.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or hospitality engineering.
• Experience with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, pumps, hydronic heating).
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and performing safe repairs with hand/power tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and guest service orientation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without a fixed end date.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on building systems and guest accommodations.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and other systems for safe operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and diagnose problems, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Support renovations, installations, preventive maintenance programs, and property improvement projects with senior engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate work orders and keep areas clean and safe.

As a Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer, you'll take ownership of preventive maintenance and day-to-day repairs while gaining exposure to advanced building systems, renovations, and property improvement projects.

Duties Include

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on building systems, guest accommodations, common areas, and resort facilities.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and other building systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnose problems, and complete repairs within your level of training while escalating more complex issues as needed.
• Support renovations, equipment installations, preventive maintenance programs, and property improvement projects while partnering with senior engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records while keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safety-focused.

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round
Schedule: 5 days per week, hours may vary based on business needs
Pay Rate: $27-31/Hour

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in facilities maintenance, hospitality engineering, commercial or multifamily maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade.
• Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, pumps, hydronic heating, or general building repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting building equipment and completing repairs safely using hand and power tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and provide excellent service to guests, residents, and team members.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without a specific end date.
