East West Hospitality is seeking an Advanced Level Maintenance Engineer for The Charter in Beaver Creek, CO. This on-site role focuses on keeping building systems and guest accommodations running smoothly in a premier mountain resort.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and departments to ensure asset preservation and high service levels. Strong diagnostic abilities and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience maintaining commercial, hospitality, resort, or multifamily properties or equivalent hands-on building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and life-safety systems; ability to read manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety and utility systems across the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, common areas, pools, fire systems, refrigeration, AV, and food service areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners and team members; support property improvement and asset preservation projects.
• Keep work areas organized; maintain records in maintenance tracking systems; communicate updates with leaders, vendors and engineering.

The Charter in Beaver Creek is looking for an Advanced Level Maintenance Engineer who knows how to keep a property running smoothly and isn’t afraid to tackle a tough problem. From building systems and guest accommodations to pools, life-safety equipment, and other critical property assets, this role puts your technical skills to work every day in one of Colorado’s premier mountain communities.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, fixing what others can’t, and taking pride in keeping a property in top condition, this is an opportunity to bring your experience to a hands-on engineering team while continuing to grow in resort hospitality!

Duties Include:

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and utility systems throughout the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in guest accommodations, common areas, pools, fire systems, refrigeration equipment, audiovisual systems, and food service areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners, and team members while supporting property improvement and asset preservation projects.
• Keep work areas organized, maintain accurate records in maintenance tracking systems, and communicate project and repair updates with department leaders, vendors, and the engineering team.

Schedule: 5 days per week, hours may vary based on business needs

Pay Rate: $32-36/Hour

Our Ideal Candidate Has...

• 4+ years of experience maintaining commercial, hospitality, resort, or multifamily residential properties, or equivalent hands-on experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and determine effective solutions.
• Sound judgment and a proactive approach to prioritizing repairs, identifying maintenance needs, and improving building performance.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and other departments, and maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
