Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is assisting a law firm in Chattanooga, TN, seeking a mid-level associate to support its Corporate M&A and Securities practice with 2–5 years of experience.

JD from ABA-accredited law school; must be licensed or eligible to be licensed. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, supporting private equity sponsors, and managing client relationships. Office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in M&A and private equity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Licensed or eligible to become licensed in the hiring jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documentation.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies through the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
