Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is assisting a Tallahassee law firm in recruiting a mid-level associate for its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience focused on M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.

The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating complex agreements, managing client relationships, and supporting sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of corporate M&A and private equity experience.
• Must reside in the designated jurisdiction by time of hire.
• Office-based with at least three days per week in the office.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed or ready to become licensed in the hiring jurisdiction.
• Familiarity with middle-market deal structures preferred.
