Job summary

LeoForce in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Light Industrial division in the Construction industry. You will oversee all stages of project life cycle from initiation to closure, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage labor and material costs to meet budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction.
• At least 3 years in light industrial construction.
• Experience in subcontractor coordination, labor and material costs, and RFPs.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and time management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Proficiency with project management software tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate with subcontractors ensuring alignment with requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Manage labor and material costs within budget limits.
• Prepare and submit project estimates and RFPs with detailed cost projections.
• Establish effective project communication plans and execute them.
• Monitor progress and generate periodic milestone and deliverable reports.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Implement and manage changes to meet project outputs.
