Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • 35 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD; Revit proficiency preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in healthcare design is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creativity, technical execution, organization, and time management.
  • A collaborative, positive approach to working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for design excellence, problem-solving, and continued professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects throughout the design process, from programming and concept development through construction administration.
  • Develop and coordinate interior design and construction documents.
  • Prepare compelling client presentation materials, including 3D models, renderings, finish palettes, material boards, and design presentations.
  • Participate in the selection, specification, and presentation of furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), fabrics, finishes, color palettes, lighting, and other interior elements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, manufacturers, and fabricators.
  • Assist with project coordination, meeting documentation, and tracking of client decisions.
  • Communicate design ideas clearly through drawings, presentations, digital modeling, and verbal communication.
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and project teams to develop thoughtful, innovative, and technically sound design solutions.
  • Contribute to the quality, organization, and timely delivery of project work.

Peacock Partnership is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Interior Designer to join our award-winning design studio. Our team specializes in healthcare design, creating thoughtful, high-performing environments that improve the experience of patients, families, caregivers, and communities.

The Opportunity

As a Mid-Level Interior Designer, you will contribute to projects across multiple phases of design while working closely with senior designers, architects, consultants, clients, and industry partners.
