Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an IT Mid-Level Analyst to support the development of its systems and infrastructure. You will handle network, systems, user, and database management with a customer-service mindset to improve IT support for internal customers and business systems.

The role requires strong technical judgment, clear communication, and initiative in a fast-paced IT environment, with travel to varied work locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Five years of IT experience or study in IT field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and explain technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete project-oriented work.
• Perform SQL database administration, including backup and restore activities.
• Maintain infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, OS, applications, and telecom).
• Support physical and virtual servers and backups across multiple locations.
• Support network infrastructure (LAN, Wi‑Fi, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, APs, routers, VoIP).
• Assist in ticket system end user issues.
• Coordinate with IT vendors to support organizational needs.
