Job summary

STG Design, a forward-thinking interior design studio in Nashville, seeks an Intermediate Designer to develop innovative design solutions and guide projects through all phases.

The ideal candidate brings creativity and technical expertise, with 3–5 years of experience in architecture/interior design and a focus on construction documentation. Proficiency in Revit and related tools is required, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural and interior design with a focus on construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and other design software for Contract Documents.
• Knowledge of codes and consultant coordination (civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural).
• Effective communication for ongoing project collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Competent in all conventional aspects of interior design with emphasis on technical implementation of the project design.
• Performs work requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Adapts standards to project requirements and maintains knowledge of related disciplines.
• Coordinates and produces Contract Documents with support from the Project Manager and senior staff.
