Job summary

STG Design invites an Intermediate Designer in Austin to develop innovative design solutions and guide projects through all phases, blending creativity with technical rigor. You will contribute to contract documents, coordinate with consultants, and apply Revit and related tools to create functional, visually compelling spaces.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of experience, strong communication, and adaptability, with Grasshopper or Dynamo knowledge as a plus and Rhino/Enscape preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of architectural and interior design experience focused on construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and other design software; knowledge of codes and permitting.
• Experience coordinating with consultants (civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural).
• Strong verbal and written communication for project collaboration.
• Grasshopper and Dynamo knowledge a plus; Rhino and Enscape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Competent in all conventional aspects of interior design with emphasis on technical implementation.
• Performs work requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Adapts standards and criteria to project requirements; knowledge of related disciplines.
• Coordinates and produces Contract Documents with support and direction from PM and senior staff.
