ZGF Architects in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Architect/Designer with 5–10 years of experience to join our team. The role focuses on design excellence, collaboration, and producing production drawings and digital models across projects in higher education, healthcare, and corporate workplaces.

Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office is expected, with a strong emphasis on communication, presentation, and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Professional Interior Design or Architectural degree.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and passionate.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent team communication skills, design presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Experience detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervision.
• Experience with multi-phased higher education, healthcare, or corporate workplace projects is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior design/architectural assignments with general direction; work independently and with others toward design solutions.
• Develop design and technical solutions for projects in all phases, including graphics, renderings, and performance metrics for communicating design goals.
• Produce design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams.
• Research products and materials; review existing projects to inform documentation.
• Support project narratives for meeting building performance goals, including metrics and verification.
• Contribute to project team performance regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in Construction Administration responsibilities and project close-out.
• Contribute to office initiatives and marketing efforts.
• Build relationships with clients and consultants; mentor junior staff.
