Decision Point Corporation is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to support the Transportation Geospatial Information System (TGIS) at Scott AFB, IL. The role involves evolving legacy .NET Framework applications, writing clean code in .NET, C#, and C++, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and a Security+ or Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing applications in .NET, C#, and C++.
• Experience with Agile software development processes.
• Ability to obtain active Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing in a Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets.
• Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and solid principles
• Develop comprehensive unit test suites with high code coverage using mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute)
• Support and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications while planning modernization strategies
• Engage in application design process as a technical contributor.
• Troubleshoot advanced production issues in collaboration with DevOps.
• Stay up to date on advanced programming techniques and software technologies.
• Contribute to investments and research that fuel innovation and technological advancements.
• Document and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-functional Development team in a fast paced highly technical environment.

Decision Point Corporation is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join our team supporting the Transportation Geospatial Information System (TGIS) at Scott AFB, IL.

This position is on a hybrid telecommute model with onsite work at Scott AFB.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets.
• Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and solid principles
• Develop comprehensive unit test suites with high code coverage using mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute)
• Support and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications while planning modernization strategies
• Engage in application design process as a technical contributor.
• Troubleshoot advanced production issues in collaboration with DevOps.
• Stay up to date on advanced programming techniques and software technologies.

Compensation

Anticipated salary range is $100,000.00-$105,000.00 per year.
