Hyatt Regency La Jolla is seeking a Mid-Level General Maintenance Engineer to support guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas. You will handle routine repairs, minor mechanical/plumbing/electrical fixes, and contribute to energy management and event setups.

The role is full-time with a $27.50 hourly wage. Candidates must be U.S. workers and available across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain hotel equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong trouble-shooting skills across mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Excellent guest service orientation and ability to respond promptly to requests.
• Good written and verbal communication; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest request calls.
• Performs routine repairs in public areas and guest rooms.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, plumbing and electrical issues; performs minor repairs.
• Assists with energy management and maintains maintenance logs.
• Maintains inventory of tools and parts and supports set-up for events.
