Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Mid-Level) to support government programs by providing technical support and acting as a SETA contractor.

You will work closely with Government technical teams to drive program success through planning, execution, and risk management. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of engineering experience, familiarity with risk assessment, research capabilities, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Space Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science).
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of systems integration, risk assessment, and program support within a government context.
• Assist in planning, reviewing, analyzing, and documenting processes to reach program objectives.
• Provide technical support and analysis to foster shared understanding.
• Analyze engineering principles to enhance team performance.
• Assist with analysis of technical risks, policy implications, and programmatic challenges.
