Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer based in Bellevue, WA.

You will lead geotechnical tasks for medium- to large-scale infrastructure projects in water and transportation markets, mentor staff, and interact with clients as part of a large interdisciplinary team. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and a MS/PhD with geotechnical emphasis, plus 8+ years of geotechnical consulting experience and WA PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and MS/PhD with a geotechnical or geological emphasis
• Minimum 8 years of geotechnical consulting experience with a focus on heavy infrastructure projects
• PE license in state of Washington or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical tasks and delivery for medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure projects, focusing on water and transportation markets
• Mentor less experienced staff and support business development efforts
• Develop geotechnical data collection programs, analyses, reports, and design drawings
• Support during project construction and interact with clients within a large interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to regional and global geotechnical capabilities and leadership
