Job Description

As a Geotechnical Engineer at BLE, you will play a key role in our Geotechnical Department, providing engineering and consulting services for various projects including landfills, mines, and industrial construction. Responsibilities include field investigations, computer modeling, engineering calculations, laboratory testing, design consultation, construction observation, and reporting.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Knowledge of project management, costs, and schedules
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or lead a team
• Effective communication skills

Daily Functions and Duties

• Perform geotechnical evaluations for environmental facilities, mines, and other projects
• Manage subsurface explorations and site investigations
• Coordinate field activities and document on-site work
• Analyze data and develop reports and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• PE Licensure
