Shannon & Wilson Inc. is a Seattle-based employee-owned consulting firm offering geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, and environmental services. The Senior Geologist position leads field explorations, subsurface investigations, data analysis, and report preparation for civil projects.

You will collaborate with clients and staff while traveling to field sites as needed. The role requires a BS in Geology (MS/PhD preferred), LG licensure, and 7–14 years of relevant experience, including

Qualifications

• BS in Geology or Engineering Geology required; MS/PhD preferred.
• LG Licensure required.
• Experience 7–14 years as Geologist, including soil sampling.
• LiDAR data analysis experience.
• Field reconnaissance mapping for civil projects.

Responsabilités

• Perform field explorations, collect samples, and observe construction sites.
• Organize and report laboratory data; conduct soil testing as needed.
• Interact with subcontractors, clients, and staff; support business development.
• Follow QA, health & safety, and loss prevention policies.
• Travel to support Shannon & Wilson offices; excellent written and verbal communication.
