Node.Digital is seeking an AI/ML Engineer in Herndon, VA (Hybrid) to architect and refine intelligent automation using generative AI and ML. The role focuses on practical AI deployment across government and commercial clients with emphasis on scalable AWS-based solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python and ML framework skills, and hands-on experience with OCR/ICR/OMR, NLP, and API development. Collaboration and Agile practice are valued in this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML-based app development with generative AI focus.
• Hands-on AWS Bedrock, S3, SageMaker, CDK, Lambda experience.
• Experience with generative models, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Document processing, NLP, DL, and AI security fundamentals.
• Web APIs development and asynchronous/multithreaded programming.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps practices knowledge.
• Agile methodologies familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement generative AI solutions using Bedrock and RAG.
• Build repeatable AI bots for document processing and data cleansing.
• Develop and deploy scalable ML/AI models on AWS.
• Create API endpoints and integrations for AI/ML services.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities.
