Job summary

Node.Digital LLC in Herndon, VA, offers a hybrid AI/ML Engineer role focused on designing, deploying, and refining generative AI applications. The architect of intelligent automation will work with AWS Bedrock, foundation models and RAG architectures, building document processing bots and scalable ML models on AWS.

Minimum 5+ years in AI/ML, Python and ML frameworks, plus OCR/ICR/OMR skills. Bachelor's degree required; strong collaboration in an Agile, SDLC-driven team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML app or solution development focusing on generative AI.
• Hands-on AWS experience with Bedrock, S3, SageMaker, CDK and Lambda.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• OCR/ICR/OMR technologies are a must.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Strong document processing, data extraction and NLP knowledge.
• Experience with API development and multi-threaded programming.
• Familiar with JSON, SOAP, REST, XML, XSD and XSLT; databases incl. SQL/NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and optimize intelligent automation solutions with AI Center support.
• Build generative AI apps with embedded AI/ML for continuous improvement.
• Design AI solutions using Bedrock, foundation models and RAG architectures.
• Develop bots for document processing and data cleansing.
• Deploy scalable ML/AI models on AWS infrastructure.
• Create API endpoints and integrations for AI/ML services.
• Implement model evaluation, monitoring and ongoing improvement.
