A prominent law firm is actively seeking a mid-level attorney to join its General Liability practice group in the Philadelphia office. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of general liability litigation matters across Pennsylvania. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation and insurance defense cases in a collaborative and professionally supportive environment.

Duties

Manage a caseload of general liability and insurance defense litigation matters

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

Conduct and respond to written discovery

Take and defend depositions

Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and trials

Provide strategic legal advice and analysis throughout all phases of litigation

Maintain active communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements

2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability or insurance defense

Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania civil litigation procedures

Experience with all stages of litigation from intake through resolution

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

Admission to the New Jersey Bar strongly preferred
