Location:

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Duties:

Conduct file reviews and provide legal analysis of claims and causes of action

Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs

Represent clients regularly in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

Draft and respond to discovery requests

Manage expert witness retention and collaboration

Prepare for and attend trials

Meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours

Travel as necessary based on case requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in General Liability

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills

Ability to manage a full caseload independently while also collaborating with a team

Prompt responsiveness to emails and telephone communications

Excellent client service and telephone manner

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania

Admission in other states considered a plus but not required

Skills:
