Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP seeks a mid-level associate to advise on investment management, regulatory and compliance matters related to the formation, structuring, and ongoing management of private investment funds.

The role requires familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act and related U.S. securities laws, with preference for candidates admitted to the New York or Illinois bar and located in NY or Chicago.

Qualifications

• At least two years of substantive asset management experience with extensive regulatory and compliance knowledge.
• Experience advising clients on investment management, regulatory and compliance matters related to formation, structuring and ongoing management of private investment funds and their advisers.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework governing private investment funds and familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act and related U.S. securities laws.
• Admitted to the state bar of the preferred office location (New York or Chicago).
