Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to support a multi-year Federal contract. You will develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases, with Servlets/JSPs experience as a plus.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Java, Spring, SQL, and Angular, can work on agile teams, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience with 6+ years of software development.
• REST APIs
• Strong front-end development with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Experience with JSON/XML
• Strong Maven experience and Git-based workflows
• Understanding Agile/Scrum methodologies and legacy modernization

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Agile software development lifecycle from backlog to deployment
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
• Develop responsive web apps with Angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs using Spring Boot
• Develop components following coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments
• Perform code reviews and contribute to quality, performance, security, and maintainability
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders
• Develop unit/integration tests and support automated testing
• Maintain and modernize legacy apps with modern Spring/Angular when beneficial
• Participate in deployment and production support
• Mentor junior developers
• Create technical docs and diagrams
