Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team. This role handles front-end design and development, creating technical drawings, mockups, and wireframes for PMO review, while building and optimizing GUI elements for improved user navigation and experience.

The position requires a Secret clearance, a related bachelor's degree, and extensive experience in frontend technologies (TypeScript, Angular/React), cloud and containerized environments, plus DoD DevSecOps tooling.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development in OO and scripting languages.
• 3 years of Jira experience for bug tracking.
• 3 years testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years’ experience with TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Cloud development experience.
• Containerized environments experience (Kubernetes or Docker).
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with at least five DoD DevSecOps tools (e.g., NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube).
• 3 years of recent front-end design and development.
• Experience with agile, user-centric UI/UX design and creating wireframes/mockups.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-end design and development deliverables including design drawings, mockups, and wireframes.
• Plan and implement GUI modifications, optimize UI elements and navigation for user ease.
• Engage in agile, user-centric application design with strong UI/UX standards.
• Generate system wireframes and mockups for multiple user personas.

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team! The Mid-level Front End Developer provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area.

Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

• Secret clearance or higher required.

• A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.

• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira).

• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.

• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.

• 3 years' experience utilizing typescripts in angular or react.

• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.

• Practical experience developing in containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker.

• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.

• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.

• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following:

• NPM

• Cypress.io

• esbuild

• Bun

• Apache Tomcat

• Maven EXP

• SonarQube

• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.

• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.

• Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using Agile Test Driven development

• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments

• DevSecOps experience with at least five (5) of the following Build tools:

• GitLab

• Jenkins

• SonarQube

• Fortify 29

• JUnit5

• Ansible
