Carollo Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design detailed power systems for water facilities in Phoenix. You will perform load calculations, routing, MCC/switchgear design, and generate specifications, working with senior engineers and clients.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and 6–12 years of relevant experience. Master’s preferred, with strong communication and project interaction skills.

Qualifications

6 to 12 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
PE registration required.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC.
Power system analysis: short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, power factor.
Field investigative and start-up experience.
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and self-starting attitude.
Ability to interact positively with clients.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision by a Senior Level Electrical Engineer.
