Job summary

Carollo Engineers in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design power systems for water and wastewater facilities, perform load calculations, conduit routing, MCC and switchgear design, and generate specifications.

Requires 6–12 years in electrical engineering, PE registration, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, strong communication, and client interaction skills; Master’s degree preferred. Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and on-site role in Ramsey, NJ.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• PE registration required.

• Familiarity with power system calculations, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.

• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC.
• Familiarity with IEEE color book series.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to interact positively with clients.

Compensation Range

$130,000 to $155,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
